Product Manager, Clinic Experience
Product · Full-time
Stockholm, Sweden
VetFamily is the partner behind more than 10,000 independent veterinary clinics in 14 countries. Purchasing power is part of what we offer our members; strong, personal relationships are what carry it. We want the digital experience we give our members to match the strength of those relationships, and that is what this role is for.
We are looking for a product manager to own a portfolio of our clinic-facing digital products, live and with real users today, among them the member portal where members follow their purchases and benefits. You take ownership from day one. Just as important is what does not exist yet. Which digital tools deserve a place in a clinic's day is an open question. You will answer it by building.
What you'll do
- Run the products we have. Own roadmaps and backlogs for your products and steadily improve them.
- Get to know clinics deeply. Spend time in clinics, run user research, and become the organisation's foremost expert on what veterinary clinics need day to day.
- Decide what we build next. Treat ideas as hypotheses, validate them with clinics, and get the winners built: clear, prioritised direction for engineers, and quick prototypes of your own when that is faster.
- Ship, measure, iterate. Take initiatives from research to launch with Commercial, Data and Engineering, and keep going after launch: double down on what works, rework or retire what doesn't.
- Work with AI. Use AI tools to speed up research synthesis, prototyping, documentation and delivery.
Who you are
You are drawn to the people you build for, and as comfortable on a clinic floor as in a backlog. Perhaps you have worked in a veterinary clinic and taken the step into product or tech. Perhaps you have built products for veterinary or human healthcare at a practice-management vendor, a clinic chain or a health-tech company. The background can vary; what cannot is empathy for the profession and a track record of building for users like these.
- Proven product management experience, end to end: discovery, design, launch, adoption, iteration.
- A strong user-research instinct: you go to the source and let evidence choose the solution.
- A bias for building: you would rather test a rough prototype with a clinic than keep polishing a document.
- Enough technical fluency to know what is realistic to build and to translate between clinics and engineers. You do not need to write code, but you need to speak the language.
- An understanding of, or a genuine wish to learn, how a clinic runs as a business: purchasing, suppliers, margins. Much of what we build touches exactly this.
- Communication skills that make a clinic feel understood and an engineer feel clearly briefed.
- Comfort with autonomy: this is an individual-contributor role with a wide mandate, and you will be trusted to set direction.
- Fluent English; one or more of the languages spoken in our markets is a plus. The role includes occasional travel to spend time with clinics, at a pace you can plan around.
What we offer
- A wide mandate. Live products, real users and the trust to decide what comes next.
- Impact you can see. Your work lands in the everyday running of thousands of clinics.
- A modern way of working. Up-to-date product tooling and AI-augmented workflows.
- A workplace that lives up to the name. A warm, international team, hybrid work and a great office in central Stockholm.
- A mission worth caring about. Improve animal healthcare by keeping independent veterinary clinics strong.
