This is not a typical analytics role. You’ll work closely with product managers to design meaningful visualizations and insights that empower veterinary clinics worldwide. You’ll also enjoy the autonomy to drive projects end-to-end—defining questions, modeling data, and delivering visual, actionable outputs with minimal hand-holding. 🌍 About the Role

As a Data Scientist at VetFamily, you will contribute to the modernization of our global platform—one that processes billions in transactions across EMEA, the US, and Australia. Your work will directly inform product decisions and customer experience across a network of clinics, suppliers, and partners.

Our data warehouse is a uniquely rich, cross-disciplinary environment. Rather than focusing on a narrow slice of information, our data landscape spans the full spectrum of the veterinary market. You’ll have the opportunity to work with this diverse data to generate insights that connect the dots across the industry.

💡 What You’ll Do

• Product-Driven Insights – Partner with product managers to define, scope, and deliver data visualizations that inform feature development and strategic decisions.
• Visualization & Storytelling – Own the design of compelling dashboards and reports using tools like Looker, PowerBI, or Streamlit.
• Exploratory Data Science – Investigate complex business problems using descriptive, statistical, and machine learning techniques.
• AI-Augmented Development – Use tools like ChatGPT, Cody, or Cursor to prototype data workflows faster while maintaining scientific validity and quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Bring an independent, proactive mindset—leading data projects while working with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders in Sweden and France.
• Architecture & Scale – Help evolve our data pipelines and architecture, currently based in DBT, AWS, BI, Tableau, ML-components and Snowflake, with a focus on reliability and interpretability.

• You’ve embraced AI-enhanced workflows to accelerate exploration and model development.
• You thrive in autonomous environments, with a track record of initiating and delivering analytics or visualization work independently.
• Strong experience in Python, SQL, and at least one data visualization stack.
• Passionate about communicating insights through clean, thoughtful visual storytelling.
• Comfortable working with wide-ranging and heterogeneous datasets—financial, behavioral, operational, and commercial.
• Business curiosity – you ask the right questions, understand commercial models, and love aligning data with strategic goals.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills—comfortable working with product and engineering teams.
