Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our business development efforts across the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland). As the Sales and Marketing Manager Nordics, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing relationships with key customers and business partners, managing and guiding our sales and marketing team, and ensuring the success of our product lines within the market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and marketing within the veterinary, pharmaceutical, or health industry, combined with a deep understanding of the Nordic markets and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed company sales targets in the Nordics
  • Identify new business opportunities and create customized sales plans
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive products to refine the sales strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
  • Work closely with distributors to create and implement joint business plans that focus on market expansion, product promotion, and driving demand
  • Lead contract negotiations with distributors and business partners
  • Manage marketing and product teams to align on goals, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Develop promotional activities that resonate with the local market
  • Provide leadership and support to the Nordic account managers, ensuring they have the tools, training, and resources necessary to achieve their sales goals
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team sessions with account managers to offer strategic guidance
  • Foster a collaborative environment where account managers can share best practices, market insights, and strategies.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs for the team, aligned with the overall business goals for the Nordic region.
  • Track and report on sales and marketing performance metrics, adjusting tactics as needed to ensure targets are met

Profile

  • Degree in Business, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in sales, preferably in the veterinary, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector. Familiarity with vet pharma industry is a plus
  • Proven experience in managing sales teams
  • Ability to develop strategic sales plans and effectively execute them.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, independent and hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong team member
  • Great computer skills: MS-Office, CRMs, project management tools, etc.
