Job description

We are currently looking for a Customer Support & Inside Sales Specialist. Primary responsibility will be to assist our customers from Belgium and Netherlands with any queries/problems and recommending/selling our products and services. To be successful in this role, it is crucial to be an excellent communicator who’s able to earn our clients’ trust. Ultimately, this person will help establish our reputation as a company that offers excellent customer support during all sales and after-sales procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email or chat
  • Update our internal CRM with relevant information and useful discussions with customers
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team for further development and closure
  • Proactively inform customers and prospects about new products and services
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Gather customer feedback and share with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams
  • Support the field sales team with sales data and relevant customer information
  • Support the marketing team based on customer feedback, reviews and market knowledge
  • Support company events, such as seminars, congresses, etc, when necessary
  • Perform effective online (and in person if applicable) presentations to prospects and customers
  • Review marketing materials and translations when applicable
  • Report test results to customers and seek sales opportunities
  • Proactively approach customers and keep track of their orders and re-orders through our reminder services
  • Work Location: Office, home based or hybrid (office: Lelystad, Netherlands)
  • Reports to: Customer Support & Inside Sales Manager

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (science related, e.g. veterinary, pharmacy, biology is a plus)
  • Experience in this role or other similar CS or inside sales roles
  • Familiarity with vet pharma industry is a plus
  • Self-ability to develop, advance and maintain strong relationships
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, independent and hands-on mentality
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to learn, apply and communicate technical/scientific knowledge
  • Strong team member
  • Good computer skills: MS-Office, databases, etc.
  • Experience using help desk software and remote support tools
  • Native in Dutch, French and English, both in spoken and written communication is a requirement.
