What You’ll Do:
- Lead the design and development of orthopedic devices, specifically bone plates and intramedullary nails.
- Identify and integrate emerging osteosynthesis technologies to improve product performance.
- Conduct and oversee prototype testing to ensure the safety and durability of designs.
- Address manufacturing challenges, engineering changes, and quality improvements.
- Manage multiple projects from concept to launch, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Clinical Affairs.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including product specifications and design reports.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
- 9+ years of experience in orthopedic product development.
- Hands-on experience with bone plates, intramedullary nails, and osteosynthesis technologies.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% for project-related needs.
