Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Veterinary Sales Representative is developing relationships with key customers and prospects and achieving specified sales goals. This involves identifying and closing new business, building relationships with major accounts, and advocating their needs internally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work within assigned region to identify opportunities within Movora’s current customer base to increase market share and brand loyalty.
  • Define targets, research, and actively pursue client relationships involving Business Development team as needed to help build market share.
  • Conduct calls to customers assigned to achieve monthly and quarterly goals as set by the Sales Director.
  • Cultivate and maintain a network of related contacts within territory.
  • Partner with assigned customers to introduce new products, review past order history and help with ROI for their business to increase Movora’s brand loyalty.
  • Build and expand the company’s customer database within your assigned territory.
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers assigned.
  • Oversee maintenance of assigned customer files, including general correspondence, record maintenance and estimates within customer database.
  • Perform regular customer follow-up in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work as a team to ensure phone coverage and manage incoming calls.

Requirements

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some college coursework in veterinary sciences, business, communication, sales, marketing, or related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 3+ year Veterinary Technician experience or exposure to medical devise sales.
  • Proven experience with ERP and other computer systems (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc).
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Proven Customer Service and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have and maintain a valid drivers’ license with a driving record that meets Company minimum standards.
  • Must have and maintain automobile insurance.
