Description:
Highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our team in the Veterinary Medical Devices industry. As a QC Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry standards. Your expertise will be vital in conducting thorough inspections and testing of medical devices throughout the production process. You will collaborate closely with production teams to identify any discrepancies or defects and implement corrective actions as necessary. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety. You will be responsible for following established protocols and utilizing various inspection techniques to guarantee that all products are manufactured to specification. Additionally, you will maintain accurate documentation of inspections, findings, and deviations, contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the organization. Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed inspections of medical devices at various stages of production.
- Perform tests and measurements using calibrated instruments and tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Document inspection results, including defects and corrective actions taken, in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering, product managers and production teams to resolve non-conformance issues and improve product quality.
- Maintain thorough records of inspections, including statistical data and quality metrics for reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations related to medical device manufacturing.
- Participate in internal audits and assist in the development of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Assist in Customer complaint investigations
- Conducting first article to onboard new suppliers
Requirements
- High School Diploma and; additional certification in QC or related field is preferred.
- 5 years of Quality Control experience.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the medical devices or related industry.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and regulatory compliance standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 and industry regulations specific to the veterinary medical devices sector.
- Ability to perform inspections using various measuring devices and testing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.
