Job Summary:
The Junior Finance Analyst will assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, supporting the Global Finance Director with variance analysis and trend identification. This role contributes to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, participates in ad-hoc financial projects, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to validate financial data. The analyst will maintain financial models to aid decision-making and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Support the global finance director in conducting variance analysis and identifying trends
- Contribute to the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Participate in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data
- Maintain and improve financial models to support business decision-making
- Assist in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in a multinational company
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- High resilience and likes to be flexible and agile
