Tasks & responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions
• Manage accounts payable and receivable process
• Maintain and update the fixed asset register
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Manage accounts inbox, including responding to inquiries and handling correspondence promptly and professionally
• Other ad hoc duties as required.

Qualifications & experience

• Ideally, you will have a tertiary degree in an accounting-related field. You will have at least 1 year of accounting experience and a sound knowledge of accounting principles, software, and Excel
• Xero experience would be beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential, along with excellent time management. You will be a confident communicator and a team player who wants to learn and grow in your accounting career
